A clean, modern, stylish set of illustrated app icons for use on iOS; perfect for spooky season, or anytime, if you're into that.
I was inspired to create my own set of custom spooky iOS icons as an engaging side project. Aside from a handful of professional icon packs, I noticed that the vast majority of options on marketplaces like Etsy or even Gumroad are amateur, and simplistic combinations of “default icon from someone else’s gigantic set” (like FontAwesome) + “random colored background” … and that’s it. So, I took what I’ve learned over the years and put it into practice for a not-so-quick, but super fulfilling icon design challenge.
Special thanks to my wife who encourages my side projects, even when I inevitably realize they won't be as quick as I first thought.
As someone born & raised in Colorado, I was thrilled to be selected for the 2022 Colfax Avenue Artist Series. Inspired by the theme of “counterculture”, I created an art piece – and subsequent augmented reality experience – that rejected the “sleep when your dead” mentality.
A lot of people don't love cold marketing. But you know what they do love? Hot sauce. In collaboration with the Thanx marketing team, I led art direction and design for our "Secret Sauce" direct mail campaign.
A good friend of mine came to me with an idea for a location-sharing app for families. We co-founded Kaylo, and launched the iOS app, Kaylo Care.
